Commision Rates
Items selling for $7,500 or more.......10%
Items selling for $2,500-$7,499.........15%
Items selling for less than $2,500......20%
(There is a minimum handling charge of $100 per item)
Insurance
We will place insurance with respect to loss or damage to all items once our receipt is issued following delivery of the property to our premises. There is a charge of 1% of the hammer price on all lots sold. Consignors may waive this charge by releasing us in writing from responsibility for loss or damage.
Catalogue Illustrations
Items illustrated in the catalogue generally attract more interest from bidders and frequently draw absentee bids from those receiving the catalogue but unable to attend the auction. The cost can be deducted from the proceeds of sale.
Large colour.....$800

Procedures and Payment
The consignor is responsible for the cost of packing, insuring and shipping property to us. We will be pleased to advise or assist consignors in making arrangements for shipment.
Upon delivery of your property to our premises, a Vendor's Receipt which constitutes the agreement between us, will be given to you for your signature. Property consigned to us is subject to this agreement and our published Conditions of Sale. A statement of account and a cheque for the net proceeds will be sent to consignors approximately 35 days after the sale.
